Thanks to the Parents Club for chartering a bus so residents could enjoy their annual ride to the South Carolina State Fair.

Drum Percsiion Studio

We were very excited to host the folks from Drum Percussion Studio in Greenville on October 7. They performed a wonderful concert in our outdoor pavilion, and our residents and staff LOVED it!

Our residents were delighted to hear the Clinton High School Band perform in our chapel, under the direction of Kolman McMurphy. We look forward to more concerts from this talented group of musicians!

wheelchair swings on campus!

We are very excited about our WhisperGlide wheelchair swings! There is one located at Unit 205, one at the Parents’ Clubhouse, two at the Pavilion, and several others at the various residential buildings. They are available for families and staff to enjoy with our residents.

Centennial Birthday!

In September 2020 we celebrated 100 years! Over the years so many lives have been touched by the wonderful services provided by our facility. We thank everyone who has ever worked with, volunteered for, and supported us in any way. Whitten Center Strong!

Beautiful Day for a tram Ride

We are so thankful for the dedicated staff that make these fun times happen at Whitten Center!

Whitten Center was excited to decorate our Campus for Christmas and for the holidays again this year. This is an annual event that we share with the surrounding communities. We would like to thank everyone who donated decorations, funds, and time and services to make this possible. We are looking forward to everyone enjoying our festive campus!

It is such fun for the residents, staff and visitors to see the pretty holiday decorations at each Unit. Thanks to all the staff who work so hard to keep our campus a fun happy home!
